Halloween

Life was crazy busy leading up to Halloween, so we didn't get the chance to carve our pumpkins till Halloween late afternoon (after coming home from Disney on Ice).  I would have been ok just skipping the carving, but Scott is always really good about taking the time and having the patience to help the kids carve their pumpkins.

I have to sneak this in here - we used seeds from the giant pumpkins we grew last year, and we grew more giant pumpkins.  The kids entered them in the library's biggest pumpkin contest, and we took 1st and 3rd place!

Now back to Halloween.  Savannah, Josh, and Sara all decided they were too big for trick or treating, so they stayed home to hand out candy.  I have to admit, it was a little sad only having 4 trick or treaters.  But the 4 younger kids were really good about sharing their candy with their older siblings.
