Aaron's School Dance

Aaron's class studied Idaho history this year.  As the year came to an end, they invited parents to come watch them dance (various dances that go along with Idaho history).  Aaron got to perform the La Raspa, a Spanish dance.  He did so good and was so fun to watch.

Cousin Pictures

My sister in law Kenna had a great gift idea for Mother's Day - pictures of the cousins to give to Scott's mom.  She arranged for a photographer, and we somehow managed to get three family's schedules to match up.  We even coordinated the colors for clothing.  The pictures turned out great.  I was so excited to have a professional picture of all of my 8 kids.

This is the picture that I hung on my wall.

How everyone felt by the time pictures were done.  Actually, it went amazingly well and all the kids did great.

For Sale

May 5th we officially listed our house.  This isn't a decision we have taken lightly.  This is our home, and none of us want to leave it.  But, we believe that what we are moving on to will be better in the long run for our family.  But change is always hard, even when it is right.

Our first showing came the next day.  Scott took Kate, Owen, Gabe and me out to lunch at Chili's.  The kids loved it!

We weren't home from lunch very long when we had another showing.  I took the kids down to the park to play, and then on to see the horses.  They decided they really like having to leave for showings.

The story of this kid's life - getting toted around in his car seat to all of his siblings' activities. It's always nice when he sleeps through it.

Pictures down by the river to give to Scott's mom for Mother's Day (separate post).
