Birthday Outings

Sara's birthday fell on a Thursday this year.  A very, very busy Thursday.  So we did our celebratory outings the weekend before.  On Saturday I took the girls shopping and let Sara pick out some new clothes.  She also got a darling glass locket that holds charms.  She was really excited about it. 

Monday was Labor Day, so the kids were out of school.  So we continued the birthday girl fun.  Sara decided she wanted to go see Cinderella in the theater.  We hadn't seen it yet, and I worried we had waited too long and it wouldn't be playing anymore.  But we lucked out and found it still playing in one theater clear across town.  So Savannah, Sara and I went to see Cinderella.  We loved it.  After the movie, I took the girls to lunch at Cafe Zupas.

And I let Sara have dessert.

While we were gone, Scott treated the boys to McDonalds. (Kate had fallen asleep, so Josh stayed home with her on the condition that Scott would bring him home food.)  It was a good day for everyone.
