Josh's Birthday Eve

One of the down sides of Scott's job, is that he has to travel.  The first half of the year isn't so bad, but come July, the travel starts.  And it doesn't end till December.  It just so happened that this year Scott had to travel on Josh's birthday.  When we broke the news to him, Josh just broke down crying.  Scott promised him that we'd celebrate the day before and the day after, but Josh was really upset.  For the two weeks leading up to his birthday, every time it got mentioned, Josh would just start crying. 

So the night before Josh's birthday came, and like promised, Scott took Josh out to celebrate.  He took him out for ice cream at McDonalds and some good dad/son bonding time.
