Easter Sunday

Easter was the same weekend as General Conference, so we didn't get to dress up in Easter finery for church.  Instead we got to hunt eggs in our pajamas and then relax and eat candy most of the day while listening to Conference.

The Easter Bunny brought fun things for the kids.  Aaron got the game Bounce Off, Nate got tennis rackets (the house in California had some, and the kids loved them), Owen got a bug net, and Kate got an Elsa Barbie that sings Let It Go (she is obsessed with Frozen these days).

Savannah got Boggle and SkipBo, Josh got a boomerang, and Sara got a puzzle.

I love seeing the seven baskets all lined up in a row.

The kids checked out their loot from their baskets.

Then I set them loose to hunt eggs.  I use the word "hunt" loosely here (there are only so many places you can hide eggs in the house).

Kate loved her new Barbie.

She also loved eating her chocolate.

The boys enjoyed their new toys outside.

It was a nice day of just being together as a family.  We consumed a ton of candy, played together, and even watched most of Conference.

After the last session of Conference, we loaded everyone up and went to Scott's parent's house to hunt eggs with cousins.
