Easter Morning

When the 9 of us stay at my parents' house, it's a tight squeeze.  The first night we were there, we stayed with them in Aberdeen.  But the second night, we made the drive to Idaho Falls to stay with the Jonses because they have more room.  I was worried about how the Easter Bunny would be able to come without waking up the 4 kids that would have to be sleeping on my parents' living room floor.  At Shauna's, everyone had enough room to sleep downstairs, far away from the upstairs where the baskets waited to be filled.

The Easter Bunny was good to the kids.  All four boys got kites, Savannah got a water bottle with chocolate truffles inside, Josh got a bug catching container, Sara got an infinity scarf, Aaron got velcro ball catchers, Nate got sidewalk chalk, Owen got sunglasses, and Kate got little baby books to chew on.

All the kids hunted for eggs before the Joneses headed off to 9am church.

After cousins left for church, we packed up and drove back to Aberdeen.  Kate got a little nap in on the drive.

Grandma and Grandpa's church wasn't till a little later, so we were planning to go to church with them.  But, Kate wasn't feeling well, and the boys were really tired, so we just sent the oldest three kids to church with Grandma.  I packed things up for us to head home, while the younger kids played.  Kate got an early birthday present from Grandma (shirt and pants), so we put them on for her to model.

I was really sad that I didn't get a picture with all of my kids dressed up in their Easter finery, but I was happy to at least get these three.
