Apples

I came back from my parents with a box of apples.  So for the first day of Scott's Alaska trip, I busied myself by making applesauce and apple butter.  I had some terrific little helpers.

I love that my mother taught me to can.  I love that I can make this homemade goodness for my kids to enjoy throughout the year!
