Arrow of Light

Josh had his Arrow of Light ceremony last week.  It happened to be at the same time as one of Savannah's volleyball games, so Kendi played Savannah's mom for a night and took her to her game, so Scott and I could both attend Josh's ceremony.  We took all the other kids, and they mostly found it interesting enough to behave through it all.

Getting his face painted, while the "chiefs" told the story of the legend of the arrow of light.

It was a good thing he had an Eagle Scout father to help him recite the scout pledge.

His scout master welcoming him across the bridge from cub scouts into boy scouts .
