Halloween

On Halloween, all the kids had school parties.  Sara's teacher invited families to come to their class party, so Nate and I went.  Scott volunteered in Sara's class that morning with their "pumpkin math", and then stayed home with Owen in the afternoon (he was sick), so I could go with Nate.  Nate loved it.

We started outside at the amphitheater, where the class put on plays for the families.  Sara was "Sally" in "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown".  She had all of her lines memorized, and did a great job.

Then we moved indoors for the party.  They played "draw the face on the pumpkin".
And they decorated cookies (which Sara was nice enough to let her little brother eat).
It was a fun party. Nate loved getting to be a part of Sara's class, and Sara loved having her brother there to show off. The party ended at the end of school, so I gave all 4 school kids a ride home, and they instantly set to work getting dressed up and ready for trick or treating.
