Nate's 4th Birthday Party

We got home from vacation Thursday night, and the very next day I threw a party for Nate.  As I was trying to get unpacked, get laundry done, clean the house, and get ready for Nate's party, I questioned my sanity in planning a party for the day after a week long vacation.  But it all worked out and Nate had a great party.

We hired a woman to come entertain the kids.  Scott loves those kind of parties.  It's so nice to sit back and let someone else do all the work.  She did balloon creations for all the kids.
She also did face painting, and she was really good at it.
And of course, Nate insisted on a bounce house, so there was no shortage of fun to keep everyone entertained.
We fed the kids pizza at the start of the party, fed them all the Otter Pops they could want during the party, and ended the party with cupcakes (store bought because I was short on time).
Present time!
It was a great party.
The party was 2 1/2 hours long, and the fun continued after the party ended. Owen conveniently napped during the whole party, but LOVED playing in the bounce house after the party.
We had the bounce house rented for hours after the party ended, so the kids played till they came and took the bounce house away.
I'm pretty sure this is a sign that Nate thoroughly enjoyed himself at his party.
