Disneyland Vacation Day 6

Friday was our last official day of vacation. We made the walk to Disneyland again past these fun flowers that looked like birds. We tried to rent a house that was close to Disneyland. It really wasn't too bad of a walk, but we did have kids complain about it each night when they were tired.

The night before, we had gone shopping at Walmart to get the kids souveniers (cheaper at Walmart than in Disneyland Park).  Owen loved this Buzz that we bought him.

We spent the first part of the day in California Adventure.

We watched Micky Mouse Clubhouse Live on Stage.  Owen LOVED it.  So did the other kids, although you won't hear them admit that willingly.  It was so fun to see Owen singing along with all his favorite characters.

We visited Donald.

And Jessie.

And Buzz Lightyear.

Then we decided we needed to head home for a little rest time.  Friday Disneyland was open longer hours for the weekend, so we started earlier than the other mornings, and were planning on staying till closing at 11.  That meant, we had to head home in the middle and let Owen rest and all of us get a proper lunch (I could only pack so much food into the bottom of the stroller).  Grandma and Grandpa decided to stay in the park and enjoy a few hours of peace and quiet by themselves.  Scott and I found ourselves wishing it had been us that stayed and that Grandma and Grandpa had taken the kids home.
Riding the shuttle bus to cut down on the walk back to the house.

After a good rest, we headed back to the park to finish out our day.

I made the kids watch the nightly parade.  They complained so much, and said they would rather be riding rides.  But, they ended up loving the parade.

We also watched World of Color

Autopia

The end of the night, on the walk home.  Owen and Nate both fell asleep in the stroller.

When we got back to the house, Josh was so tired, he just fell asleep in his clothes on the bed.
