Cousin Fun

Just over a week ago on Saturday, we had a Howell family get-together. Scott's dad found out that his cancer had come back for a third time, and had surgery this past week. This was a chance for everyone to get to spend time together before his surgery. Unfortunately, that morning Aaron came downstairs throwing up and running a fever, so I got to stay home with Aaron (Owen stayed home with us, too). So Scott took lots of pictures of their day to bring back home and show us.

They went out to Jamie's house and had lunch, then hit the neighbor's home-made water slide.











Nate took advantage of having plenty of older kids to pack him around.


The cousins had so much fun playing together. They spent the whole day together (they left here at 11 that morning and didn't get home till after 6 that evening).






I wish I could have been there, but Aaron turned out to be pretty sick. He ran a fever for three days and didn't want to do anything but just watch tv and sleep. Poor kid. He's all better now, and I'm hoping that we are done with this round of sickness--Josh had a fever for an evening a few days before we went to Sun Vally, Owen threw up the night we got back from Sun Valley, and Nate threw up a few days ago. For the other kids, it was more of a 12 hour bug, but Aaron was down with it for three days. But, I think that we are all healthy now, and hopefully we will stay that way.
