Eagle Fun Days

We love Eagle Fun Day.  This year at the family carnival on Friday night, there was a fire truck, with ladder extended, shooting their fire hose.  The boys went crazy!  They loved standing underneath the huge spray of water.

They were soaked to the bone.

After getting soaked, they moved on to all the fun games, and slowly dried out while playing.  Kate loved the fishing pond.  She spent most of her time fishing for these little fish.

The old fashioned fire truck was there, and Owen stood patiently in line for his turn to sit in it.  The helmet was an added bonus.

The library had a table set up of Legos.  Both Owen and Aaron loved getting to build with the Legos.

Kate - still fishing.

Kate took a short break from fishing to go over and try her hand at basketball.

The firemen and police had some obstacle courses set up.  Nate tried both of them.

Josh spent almost the entire time at the basketball booth.

Nate stood in line a very long time to get a turn shooting a gun at a target.

Aaron loved all the free candy he won playing games.

Owen trying out the obstacle course.

Aaron gave it a try too.

Saturday was the parade.  We usually hit the parade on our end of town, toward the end of it, and they are always out of candy.  So this time we went to the start of the parade, and the kids raked in the candy.

After the candy part of the parade, is the Wet and Wild part of the parade.  The boys loved getting wet!

Wet happy boys.

Owen wasn't so happy about being wet.  But, he dried out on the walk back to the van.
