Vacation Day 4 (August 3)

Again, a lazy morning at the cabin. This time the kids entertained themselves playing Hide and Seek. Kate picked this spot to hide, convinced that if she couldn't see anyone, they couldn't see her.

We drove into McCall again.  The kids had to get a picture with the bears.  Trying to get the perfect picture was tricky.  Notice Nate with his finger in the bear's nose in the first picture.

It was really cold this day, and I worried about the kids trying to swim in the lake and getting too cold.  The boys were insistent they could handle the cold water.  So I left Scott with the boys, and I took the girls up to do some souvenir shopping.

When we came back from shopping, Kate insisted on joining the boys in the lake.

Sure enough, though, after a while the boys were too cold to keep swimming.

We cranked up the heat in the van and headed back to the cabin.
