Swimming Lessons

Nate and Owen are my only kids that took swimming lessons this summer.  The older 4 have turned into great swimmers, so I didn't think they needed lessons.  Nate is actually a pretty good swimmer too, but I wanted him to work on technique.  And Owen, well, he's not such a great swimmer.

Owen refused to put his face in the water, and he freaked out any time Katerina would try to take him off the steps. 

 

All he wanted to do was kick his legs while holding on to the stairs.

 

 
Finally, on the last day, Owen was brave enough to let Katerina drag him around the pool for a minute.

Nate's favorite part of lessons was the last 5 minutes, which was free time.  He loved going down the slide as much as he could.
