First Snow

On Saturday, Scott took Josh, Sara, Aaron, and two of the kids' friends to a football game at the BSU stadium (the Great Potato Bowl). While they were gone, Savannah and Nate rummaged through our storage closet and found these build-a-snowman kits we got last year for Christmas. We never got enough snow to use them last year, and so far we haven't had so much as a skiff of snow this winter. So, Savannah and Nate decided to use them on themselves. They made pretty cute little snowmen.
And then that night we finally got snow.  The kids couldn't wait to get out and play in it before it melted away.  I won't even begin to tell you how much of a pain it was to round up enough snow pants, gloves, boots, and hats for everyone.  But, we finally got everyone dressed and sent outside to play.
The kids instantly set to work building a snowman.
Owen preferred to not touch the snow. He enjoyed just riding his scooter around in it.
The final product. Notice the lack of snow around on the ground. They had to use every inch of snow in the front and back yards to get that snowman. (Brynne and Liam, our neighbors were here helping.)
