The week before school started, Randy arranged to have a day out with Aaron and Nate and his two grandkids (Reagan and Quinn) that are my boys' ages. I think my boys would claim Randy as a grandpa if they could. They adore him. Earlier this year (during Spring Break), Randy had taken them to lunch with his grandkids, and then let them play dress up at his house.

So, before school started and we were strapped down with routines, Randy took them all out again for some fun. He took them to lunch, then to the MK Nature Center.
And he took them to the Boise Train Depot. Aaron was very excited to see a real train go by!
And they ended with their own personal groundbreaking at the Meridian Temple site (the real ground breaking was just a few days later). The boys came home tired and happy. What a fun day!
