The Rest of the Weekend

The weather all weekend long was cold and rainy, so we spent a lot of time indoors. The kids spent most of their indoor time playing Boggle. It was one of my favorite games growing up, so it was fun watching my kids love it so much. Even our little Kindergartner Sara was coming up with words like the big kids.

On Monday, we went out to the home of a lady that my mom visit teaches. She raises pigs and told my mom that she could bring kids to visit any time. Nate was so excited to go see the piggies.





Sara preferred to hang out with Owen in the car because she wasn't so fond of the smell.


And then it was time to head back home. It's always a sad thing when we have to leave Grandma's house, so the kids put it off as long as they could. The ride home took longer than usual also because Owen was fed up with being in his car seat, so we had to make some extra stops. We finally arrived home at 10:45 Monday night. The kids were really tired getting up for school the next morning. But, it was a great weekend!
