Our little Sara Hope graduated from Kindergarten last week. Scott helped me get the three boys there, then had to leave for a flight to Seattle. Grandma Jo came, so she helped me keep the boys in their seats during the program. They were pretty squirmy and kept poking each other, but for the most part they behaved.
Sara's class sang some songs that they had learned throughout the year.
Then each child got a certificate.
Then we all got to hang out and eat treats. The boys loved all the cookies and cupcakes.
We went to Sara's classroom to gather all of her school stuff to take home. Sara had a great time showing Aaron around the room (since he'll be in Kindergarten next year).
Sara's teacher put together some pictures that she took of Sara throughout the year and gave them to us. It was so fun to look back at how much Sara has grown since school started last fall.
At meet the teacher night the week before school started.
Field trip to Albertsons.
Sara's birthday. We got to put together a book of pictures all about Sara, then our family (minus the older school kids) got to bring in birthday treats and read the book to the class.
At the school Walk-a-Thon (yes, that a very pregnant me helping to count laps).
Thanksgiving feast.
Christmas. (I think the picture of Sara in the snow is just gorgeous of her.)
Valentine's Day.
Doctor Seuss week (pajama day).
Easter.
Choir concert.
"Eat lunch like a 1st grader" day.
Happy graduation Sara! We love you and are so proud of who you are!
