Scott had a vendor at work give him a gift card to The Village in Meridian. They must really like the work he does for them, because it was a very generous gift card. So on an afternoon in early July, we took the entire family out to eat at The Village, courtesy of this gift card. We so rarely go out to eat with all of us. For one, it is so expensive. And another, it's so chaotic. But, the kids did fairly well at behaving themselves, and the food was delicious, so the afternoon was a success.
Kate was going through a phase where she would only wear her swimsuit every day and everywhere we'd go. You can get away with that when you are 2.
The kids loved getting to play in the courtyard waiting for a table to open up in the restaurant.
