So I filled my loneliness by pouring myself into the 1500 piece puzzle that we'd bought on vacation. It took me three days to finish, and all the housework and laundry waited while I did the puzzle.
And then I unpacked and got back to real life.

Life After Vacation
It was hard to come back home after Spring Break. The kids had a hard time adjusting back into the routine of school, and I had a hard time with them all leaving me alone at home. I still had Kate and Owen, but I missed having us all together as a family. I was lonely.
So I filled my loneliness by pouring myself into the 1500 piece puzzle that we'd bought on vacation. It took me three days to finish, and all the housework and laundry waited while I did the puzzle.
And then I unpacked and got back to real life.
