Kate on Vacation

We finally get to sweet little Kate.  Kate didn't really "do" all that much on vacation, but I did get some cute pictures of her to share. 

For the most part, she just hung out in the cabin with me while the kids and Scott adventured around in the great outdoors.  But every now and then, she'd brave heading outdoors with me.  Here she is the first night, lounging in the backpack out at the fire pit.

The pictures make it seem like she was always in the backpack, but she wasn't.  She got plenty of holding and snuggles from Mom (and even Dad) while we were there.

Kate is such a happy baby.  But, half way through our vacation she became really fussy.  It didn't take me long to notice her white mouth and realize that she had Thrush.  Poor girl.  We got her into Primary Health as soon as we got back into town, and got her on medication for it.  It's all cleared up for her now, and she's back to our happy little girl.  Even when she wasn't feeling well, though, she still graced us with lots of smiles.
