Growing Up

Savannah will be 12 years old in two months.  It's amazing to see her go from a little girl to a young woman almost over night.  All of a sudden she wants to dress up and look stylish and cute.  No more plain jeans and ratty t-shirts for this girl.  And so, we've gone shopping!  I've taken her out twice now to get clothes.  The first time we went for Sunday dresses, and the second time we found school clothes.  It's really fun to see her taking an interest in looking nice, but it also makes me realize just how grown up she is getting.  I'm so incredibly proud of the girl that she is.  I couldn't ask for a better helper and example for her younger siblings.
