When Scott became Elder's Quorum President, he also inherited the responsibility of planning the ward Christmas Party. He ended up doing a fantastic job, and we all had a great time.
We had yummy treats.
Kate enjoyed the musical entertainment.
The primary kids acted out the Nativity as part of the program.
Aaron was the brave donkey.
Nate was the leader of the shepherds.
Nate was also the calmer of unruly sheep.
Josh was the serious wise man.
Sara was a stalwart shepherd.
And then the cutest little angel there ever was, wandered out onto stage. I was on the sidelines, just behind the curtain, telling the kids when to go on stage. Kate had wanted to be with me, and when the kids were putting on their costumes, Kate had grabbed a halo and put it on herself. She just had to be part of the performance.
And of course, it wouldn't be a party if Santa didn't show up at the end! All the kids sat on his lap (some weren't as happy to do it as others, ahem, Kate and Josh).
