Savannah became a teenager on October 2nd. I've always said that I'd rather change diapers forever than have to raise teenagers. Teenagers scare me. But, Heavenly Father was kind enough to send Savannah first, so she could gently break me in to the teenage years. Really, she is as good as they come, and is going to be an awesome teenager.
She requested brownies instead of a cake.
She got a card from our friend Randy, that had a necklace with the YW values on it, and a white handkerchief to use when she goes to the temple.
Her siblings worked to make some presents for her. Owen colored her a picture.
Sara made a picture block with a picture on it of them together the day Sara was born.
They've grown a bit since that picture was taken.
Earlier that day, Savannah had gone with Scott to pick up our new van. And then I took her shopping, where she got the new sweatshirt she is wearing in these pictures. But the highlight of the day was that night. After opening her sibling's presents, and after eating her favorite dinner of crepes, and after eating brownies and ice cream, we put all the kids to bed except Savannah. And then Scott and I took Savannah shopping for a new bike. She had a really hard time deciding between the purple and the green one, but in the end, she decided to go with the green. Happy Birthday sweet girl!
