With Nate having his tonsils out, we couldn't really travel for Thanksgiving. My mom had hoped we'd make it to Aberdeen, where she was hosting Thanksgiving with all of my sisters, but we needed to stay here for Nate. So we went to Scott's parents' for the afternoon. We gave Nate pain medicine just before we left, and he brought along his pillow and blanket to rest on the couch. Marc, Kenna, and Avery were there, and Jo made a scrumptious dinner for us. The star of the dinner was this gorgeous rainbow jello creation.
After dinner was all cleaned up, Scott and I took advantage of babysitters, and snuck away to Walmart to do some Black Friday shopping. It was crazy busy! And half the stuff we wanted sold out immediately, but we still found some good deals.
After shopping, we went back for pie at Mike and Jo's. It was a good Thanksgiving.
