4th of July
This year for the 4th of July, we went to Scott's parents for a barbecue in the afternoon, then came home to do fireworks.
The kids were eager to get started, so we did a few snakes before it was completely dark. Nate hates the noise fireworks make, so this year we did ear plugs for him.
As the sun went down, we started gathering neighbors. Savannah got her friend Ellie to come down and the whole Merrill family (Sara's best friend Ady) came to do fireworks with us.
And then the firework show began...

Holidays make me happy. I love the memories that we make as a family with holidays.
