To make up for making them sit through Nate's play, I let Owen and Kate play on the play ground for a few minutes before we headed home.

Reader's Theater
Nate performed in a reader's theater for school, and I got to go watch him. Owen and Kate came too, but they were not happy about having to be there. Owen hid out at the top of the stairs and only came to sit with me with bribery that he could play on my phone.
The kids did a Johnny Appleseed play. Nate did a great job. He's a natural!
