Scott came home from Chicago the day before Halloween (actually, it was after midnight, so it was actually on Halloween). We were so happy to have him home for this holiday!
I asked Scott to drop in to help at Nate's school Halloween party. Nate was so happy to see his dad surprise him.
After the kids got home from school, they went to work carving their pumpkins.
Then it was time for costumes. Savannah decided she was too old to Trick or Treat, and offered to stay home and hand out candy while Scott and I took the kids out. It ended up being a slow night for trick or treaters, and Savannah had to stave off boredom by taking selfies on my phone. She's a fun kid.
Savannah dressed as a nerd, Josh as a witch, Sara was Marilyn Monroe, Aaron a girl, Nate a vampire pirate, Owen a frog, and Kate was a cow. We ended up all separated for trick or treating - Josh and Nate went around with our neighbors, Sara ran into some friends and joined them, and Aaron stuck with me, Scott, Owen, and Kate. They all raked in candy and had a great time.
