Joshua had his final basketball game on Saturday. For the past three months, he's had practice every Thursday evening, and a game every Saturday. Sometimes his games would be in the afternoon, and we'd let Savannah stay home to babysit while Owen napped (and usually Nate and Aaron would come along with us to the game). And sometimes his games were early in the morning, so I'd stay home with all the kids while just Scott went to his game. But for this last game, we made the whole family come to watch Josh play.
Josh's team only lost once during the season, and has some really good players on the team. This was Josh's first time playing basketball, so he started out pretty timid. But, he gained confidence over the season and really improved. And in this final game, he made a basket! His only basket the whole season. I was so happy that he was able to end the season with a basket. He was pretty happy too.
To celebrate, we all went out for ice cream. It was great to celebrate Josh's accomplishments all together as a family. Great job Josh!

My boys have no interest in sports. They would rather make movies and build things. I think I have a director and an engineer on my hands :)
