Rendezvous

Rendezvous is the day that all the 4th graders look forward to.  It's the culminating activity to round out their Idaho History studies, and all the schools all over the district come.  Scott went last year with Sara, and it poured rain on them.  But they stuck it out and had a pretty good time.  Aaron was really looking forward to going this year, and Scott signed up to go again as a chaperone.  Aaron pulled out his coon skin hat to wear.

The day started out overcast, and Scott and Aaron went prepared for rain.  But, as the drizzling continued, by noon the powers that be decided Rendezvous would be cancelled due to rain. Scott said the rain was not nearly as bad as it had been the year before and was really surprised they cancelled it.  Aaron was really disappointed.  He was looking forward to buying a notebook at the trading post, to take with him camping to record Sasquatch sightings, and it was cancelled before he got to visit the trading post.  So to make it up to him, Scott took him to the dollar store and let him pick out a notebook and pens.
