Ely, Nevada

The end of October, Scott had to take a 3 day trip to Ely, Nevada to see one of his clients.  The kids were out of school Thursday and Friday, so we decided to let Savannah and Sara go with Scott.  It was a lot of driving, but they also got to do some fun things.

Our kids rarely get to stay in a hotel, so when they do get the chance, it's a real treat.  The girls hung out here while Scott did his evening meetings.

The next day Scott took the girls golfing.

Scott toured the mine.

This was supposed to be a selfie with the sign for the mine, but the sun was in Savannah's eyes, and she missed getting the sign in the picture.

I stayed home with the rest of the kids and tried to make things fun for them.  We did a firepit in the backyard.

We ate McDonald's for lunch.

Aaron and Nate played a football game.

Josh missed the game for a scout campout.  I love that his scout leaders take pictures for me!

And we ended with eating chicken nuggets and fries and playing at the park while we waited for Scott and the girls to finally get home. I'm so glad the girls got the chance to go with Scott, I know they had a great time.
