Disneyland Vacation Day 4

Wednesday we went to Disneyland.  California Adventure has lots of fun rides, but the true magic happens in Disneyland. 

Happiest Place on Earth?

Owen had promised our friend Randy that he would say hi to Goofy for him.  So we were so excited when he was the first character we saw!

 

The next character we saw was Minnie Mouse.

I love this picture of Owen and Scott.  Owen is such a little mini-me of Scott.

Jedi training was one of the boys' favorite things when we went last time. It's a good thing they all got picked again. It would have been a huge disappointment if they didn't get to do Jedi Training again. Josh, Sara, Aaron, and Nate all got picked. Savannah was too old, and Owen was too scared.

After losing Nate the first day, I determined I wouldn't lose any more little boys.  The shirts certainly helped.

All Owen wanted all day long, was to meet Mickey.  As we entered the park, I wanted us to pose as a family in front of the Mickey flowers.  I made the mistake of saying, "Let's take a picture with Mickey".  Owen was crying the whole picture and yelling, "This isn't Mickey Mouse!".  With every character we met, he was very nervous, and needed Scott to be holding him to go up to them.  But, when he saw Mickey, he ran right up to him and wrapped his arms around his legs and gave him the biggest hug.  It was his favorite thing all day - getting to meet Mickey.
