October has been so busy with Scott's travels, that we only had one day that we could take our annual trip out to the Pumpkin Patch--and that day it decided to rain. We knew it was our only chance, though, so we bundled up everyone and braved the elements.
Checking out the bees before heading outside to the hay ride.
Owen loved the turkeys.
When the hay ride started out, it was raining pretty good. I was dreading having to stand out in the pumpkin field in the pouring rain.
By the time we made it out to the pumpkin field, the rain stopped, which made for much more pleasant pumpkin hunting.
After everyone found their favorite pumpkin to bring home, we loaded back onto the hayride.
I couldn't help but just snap away with the pictures of Owen. He has the cutest little face, and he never holds still for me to take pictures of him at home.
Despite the rain, we had another fun year at the pumpkin patch. As we drove home, I joked with Scott that it would have been a lot cheaper (and warmer) if we had just bought pumpkins at Walmart. "But not nearly the memories," he reminded me.
