One day while on vacation, I sent Scott off with the three older kids to pick huckleberries. I stayed home with my three little boys and let Owen get a proper nap in, and let Aaron and Nate relax and watch some cartoons.
The kids weren't too excited about having to go pick huckleberries. But once they got up there and started picking, they decided it was really fun. Josh ate more than he picked, but we came home with enough huckleberries to make the most delicious huckleberry/apple pie. It was seriously good.
After they got bored of picking, Scott let the kids throw rocks in the lake. That was almost as much fun as picking huckleberries.
